We are all feeling it at the moment. The suspension of local sport, closing of gyms, fitness studios, swimming pools and recreation centres means at-home workouts have become the norm for households.

We've curated a list of free activities to keep you and your family active throughout this difficult period. We will continue to update this list as we become aware of activities and resources.


Freshen up your skills

#PlayAtHomeChallenge ⚽️
Football Federation Australia has created the #PlayAtHomeChallenge. Each week they announce a skill for you to master with some tips on how it's done. Check out the Skills Hub for more information.

AFL Auskick at Home 🏉
Nick Riewoldt has started creating AFL Auskick at Home videos. There are plenty of simple drills and exercises that can be done at home to improve your footy skills. They are being uploaded to Instagram. Check out the first video here.

NetFit 🏐
Netball Australia has partnered with NetFit to offer free online netball clinics until 22nd May 2020. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9am to 3pm, you can participate in activities such as fitness specific workouts, wellbeing workshops, solo skill sessions and nutrition workshops. Register here.

Home Court 🏀
HomeCourt is an app you can download (iPhone/iPad only) that has basketball workouts and training activities. You can capture and analyse how you play – from your shots, dribbling, to your movements. They have unlocked all features for free until the end of April. Download the app here.

Local associations 🏆
Local sports associations across Australia are creating online skills videos, training tips and general fitness activities to help you stay active.

Find your 30 🏃
If you need of inspiration for what you can do to stay active, check out this tool from Sport Aus. ‘Find your 30’ is all about finding practical ways to work 30 minutes of physical activity into your day. 

Nike NTC ✔️
Nike’s NTC training app
(iPhone and Android) has a range of exercises from 15-60 minutes. You can choose from cardio, strength, mobility and yoga sessions. They also have wellness and nutrition guidance. Their premium features are currently free to all members.

28 by Sam Wood 💪
Sam Wood from 28 by Sam Wood is offering free classes online everyday (Monday - Friday) at 9am AEDT. All workouts are kid friendly. Access the sessions via Facebook.

Keep it Cleaner 💪
The Keep it Cleaner team are hosting free workouts every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7am AEDT. No equipment is required. Join via their Facebook Page or Instagram live via @keepitcleaner.

Workouts under 5 minutes 🎵
Workout to your favourite pop song. You can work up a sweat in under 5 minutes with these videos. There is a mix of full body, abs and leg workouts. Enjoy!

Yoga With Adriene 🧘
If you’re looking for yoga workouts online, Yoga with Adriene is a great resource. There are videos from 10 minutes to 60 minutes to suit all abilities.
